Restless Natives

I doubt most of the people reading this have ever heard of it, but i would like to write about it anyways.

Restless Natives: Made in 1985 in Scotland. A film about two young Scots trying to get money. One of them "Ronny" owns a "Jokes, magic and souvenirs" shop, that doesn't bring in too much money. At one point in the movie he gets beat down by an old woman that was angry about her "wee Angus" buying tricks there.

Anyways... In the movie Ronny and Will dress up as (in order) The Clown and The Wolfman and hold up tour buses. Stealing valuables and money from tourists. Their first bad encounter on the bus was with a bloody American

that wanted to keep his money. The American and Will get in a fight and Ronny blows the puffer (the puffer is this thing filled with different powders that make people sneeze and itch). Getting off the bus Will finds the tour guide laughing and looking extremely happy (a girl about his age). The next day they hold up the same bus, and after arguing with Ronny Will goes back to hand the girl flowers.

Later on in the movie Ronny runs into some problems with his life. One thing he says quite a bit it: "I'm on my own, i don't have the support of the family unit to back me up." He goes to a bar and meets up with a friend, unfortunately his friends friend comes along and screws things up. He introduces Ronny to the concept of having a real gun, along with drinking a lot and doing whatever the hell you want. This causes an issue between Ronny and Will, they look at things differently, but in the end they work it out.

Sorry if I'm starting to sound boring. But i wont give too much away. This movie is a wonderful comedy, romance, and even a bit of action. With my favorite band Big Country doing the sound track, the movie couldn't get any better.
